The Checks in the Mail
Peter Micciche, President of Waste Industry Leasing, www.wasteindustryleasing.com ,has reached the pinnacle of one of the great lies that we all have heard but, in most cases, have not experienced first hand. I now have, unfortunately.
I have known and worked with Peter for almost five years now, and it WAS a pleasant and profitable experience for us both. I have personally been responsible for Peter’s success in finding funding for one of his customers for four machines totaling $1.73M
The last transaction was funded almost three months ago, and I was promised multiple times that my “check was in the mail”. Peter received his check for a referral fee of $9,600 over two months ago and promised he would reimburse me immediately for my effort in finding a funding source.
To date, I have not received this check, and it has been two months since the first “check was in the mail”.
He has consistently insisted he has sent two checks in the regular mail, said he would overnight to me a check and, most recently, requested a 1099 from me, which he said, once received, he would send me a check. Four checks???? I only want one!
I just wanted to warn as many folks as possible about working with Peter so as to ensure this does not happen to you.
By the way, Peter has been paid over $50,000 of fees for these transactions. He owes me a mere $3,200!
