- Teri Gerson is president of Executive Solutions for Leasing and Finance Inc. in Mountainside, N.J. The search firm, which she founded in 1990, focuses exclusively on the leasing and finance industry in the United States and Canada. Ms. Gerson has created a customized database of 22,000+ leasing professionals and has added several talent search specialists to her staff. She is also co-founder of the Gerson Consulting Group, which provides a wide array of consulting services to the leasing and finance industry. Ms. Gerson has served on the ELFA Service Providers Business Council and during her term served on the New Member and Marketing subcommittees. She has been a presenter at ELFA conventions and the Executive Roundtable. Ms. Gerson also conducted breakout sessions for the UAEL. Articles authored by Ms. Gerson address topics such as defining criteria for selecting a search firm, understanding the role of a recruiter, and choosing between retained and contingency searches. The Journal of Equipment Lease Financing published her article entitled “Sourcing, Selecting and Interviewing Talent Effectively” in Volume 26, Winter 2008. Ms. Gerson has been a presenter at the 2008 UAEL conference as well.
