- I have worked in leasing for just short of 20 years now. I started out in contract hire for a finanicial services company before joining Anglo Leasing (as was) in 1994. I moved to DLL in 1996 where I spent my first five years in the Sales Support departments before moving into Operations in 2001. As well as processing payouts, I spent the majority of my time looking at how they did business and how to process it much more efficiently. This included working with not only my local (UK) based colleagues but I also represented the UK in their international forums for system updates etc. I left DLL in Dec 2006, when I joined and much smaller company (Japanese this time), again in Operations. In addition I took on a new challenge which was to audit our end users for the equipment they had on finance with us. At the moment, this company's book is up for sale and so I am looking for opportunities elsewhere.

The OPS platforms have stopped in the 'old' format, we have now knowledge sharing platforms every 6 months, so not so much travelling involved any more. Last time I was in Eindhoven was in April, I think...
However, I hope you and your family are doing well!
Hope everything is fien with you. I wasn't aware that you left DLL. When you are working in the "local" environment, lie I have done since 2003, you will not be informed about international developments at all. I talk to some former colleagues (Theo van Es, HP van Eck, Karin van Liempd) so now and then, but that's all!
Arre there any positive developments for you to move to a new company once the portfolio will be sold??
