- Having worked in different management roles within international organization design, process management, off-shoring, leasing, financing and IT for more than 12 years, Remco can be seen as an expert on the crossroads of these areas.
After succesfully finishing University, Remco joined Digital Equipment as information specialist. He then rapidly climbed the management ladder within Digital and later Compaq Services until reaching the role of European IT Manager at Compaq Asset Management Services and Remarketing.
In 2000 Remco moved into IT Leasing and Financing, focusing on organization design, business process improvement, change management and business process outsourcing (BPO), and became a member of the worldwide HP Financial Services leadership team. In 2006 he moved into a global process management role at Oracle Financing, the worldwide industry leader in software financing.
In 2008 Remco decided to become independent and start his own company. In this new endeavour he focuses on two things. First of all he is taking challenging interim management projects in the area of leasing, outsourcing, business process management and/or IT. Secondly he is starting a new teambuilding company, in which he will combine his passion for arctic adventures with a serious and new teambuilding methodology.
Remco holds a Master’s degree (MSc/drs) in management sciences and Bachelor’s and Engineering degrees (BBA/ing) in business administration and mechanical engineering. More recently he went through the Project Management Professional (PMP) and six sigma Green and Black Belt curricula. In 2008 he got certified as team trainer per the MTR-i and ITPQ method. In 2002 Remco received the Compaq Financial Services living legend award.
