- Marcus K. Simpson is a graduate of Dartmouth College, 2000, with a major in Cognitive Science. Marcus established Associated Capital in September 2006, while operating independently in healthcare finance since 2002. Holding broad relationships among top-tier lenders, vendors, and progressive partners, Marcus recognized the need for a new vision, a new implementation, a company that would seek to redefine the finance field. Inspired by the power of the network, social media, and global need, cognizant of the vast transgressions in customer/client ethics and transparency within finance – Associated Capital was born. Our team resonates to a unified vision of powerful partnerships, philosophy-driven business, and community action.
Marcus has experience in 3D medical imaging, capital equipment sales, and disaster preparedness through his work with a bioterrorism think-tank, the Institute for Security & Technology Studies. He has published several times in the fields of virtual reality & surgery and robotics in medicine. Marcus has a wide array of deep interests ranging from photography, cultural world travel, music, hiking and a genuine desire to understand the bridge between our Eastern and Western Traditions. He has a penchant for cooking, gardening, meditating, and golden retrievers. Marcus resides in New York City and has a deep fondness for Chicago and the mountains of NH.
