- Art Kimicata has enjoyed a highly successful career in various sales and marketing leadership roles in both technology solutions and financial services. He has achieved success in large and small companies, as well as domestic and international markets. His accomplishments include building a profitable consulting services business unit, strategic acquisitions and integration of targeted opportunities, several successful turnarounds, and development and implementation of significant new products. His past responsibilities have included business strategy development, sales and marketing, sales operations, sales support, product development and marketing, customer service and international expansion. His current responsibilities include developing, implementing and directing effective strategies and programs for financing and used equipment sales across the IPS solution set and worldwide sales teams.
Art began his career as a systems engineer with IBM, successfully transitioning to sales while at IBM, and then progressing to sales management and executive leadership positions with technology solution providers like XL/Datacomp, SunData, IPL Systems and US Technologies. Art also led one if the largest operating units of the CIT Group as Senior Vice President, prior to serving as President of Optimus Financial Services. Most recently Art was the Chief Sales Officer and Executive Vice President of Private Business, Inc. Art and his teams were consistently recognized for their innovative strategies and success at exceeding sales goals. Art has most recently been providing consulting services to several leasing companies and technology solution providers.
Art is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, with a BA in Economics and a BS in Psychology. He has been a speaker and panelist with various technology and leasing conferences and organizations throughout his career. He has also served as a board/executive committee member for several companies.
