I think this is a good forum to discuss this.
Many lenders who have not been exposed to the NAELB need to hear what the benefits are to belonging to our association.
I have my reasons but as a recruiter others may not relate to them.
So I challange the Broker and Funding members to share what the benefits are from a point of view that will speak to other Brokers and Funders who may come to join our association from all over the world!
I joined NAELB mainly for the Forum benefits. Through the Forum, I knew I could research potential lenders and continue a positive momentum of growth that benefits my company and its vendors and clients.
After being a member, I learned that I can also benefit from the many services available to members. There have also been many updates to the industry that have been posted which I may not have learned or learned late in the game. In Addition; I have even received warnings/insight of potential threats posed by the dishonest efforts of others whom would try to prey on the uninformed while trying to defraud, scam or manipulate their way into money.
In summary, after 12+ years in the finance arena and 6+ years of valued NAELB membership, I have not a single regret for becoming a member. The NAELB has played a positive role in both our company growth as well as our industry knowledge. I would recommend anyone in our industry become a member if not already. Whether you are a broker looking for a new funding source (or vise versa) or you simply like to stay informed on various upcoming industry events and happenings, NAELB makes it easy and affordable to do just that.
