Wind Turbine / Renewable energy funding required
Hi all,
These interesting times certainly produce some interesting opportunities. I have an opportunity to fund several wind turbine transactions. The wind turbine its self is of a new design that needs less space and less wind to produce significant power and therefore savings. The end users tend to be large corporate companies and in some cases utility companies. The company is also in talks with some US government bodies. The initial installation is funded and secured by way of a contract with the end user. The typical contract is over 20 years. The first 6 years are assigned to provide the initial funding. It is my understanding that carbon credits are available and that the US government is taking a keen interest in this project.
The initial requirement is for around $30m
