Life outside of leasing
Dear members,
I have no idea whether it is appropriate to launch a discussion on the following by using theLeaseBlog, however,
* in 2004, I acquired a property in France (www.alliedproperty.net) with the purpose of (i) long term investment and (ii) to keep busy after retiring (oh, don't worry, not yet)
* in 2006, I bought another property (www.ladiat.com), completely renovated it, split it into two huge apartments, with an identical purpose.
I have now put one apartment on the market in France: go to www.pap.fr, then to :ventes, then mark: 4 pieces, then insert postal code 38380.
For those of you who are interested in renting (for holiday purposes), or buying the apartment near Grenoble (cheap tickets from UK to Grenoble airport!), just let me know.
I realize that theLeaseBlog should not become an "ebay" kind of site. On the other hand, finding a tenant for a fantastic 2 weeks holidays in Pontenx les Forges, gives me just as much pleasure as closing a deal in Latvia...
And frankly sepaking, I don't care too much where the money comes from, as long as it's honest and in line with best practice.
P.S. Don't tell me that you might be interested in www.ladiat.com but that you do not have the financial means...I'd be happy to arrange financing ;-)

Your villa offer, that I just happened onto, is very enticing. I shall remember that in the springtime when we are considering a holiday destination. Alas, the exchange rate with the euro makes going to Europe a costly affair for us Americans.
